• How many people can the apartments sleep? What if we want to have
guests; will there be enough beds, linens, and towels?
King David can sleep 8, Ramban 10 can sleep 7, Azza and Azza II can sleep 6, Jabotinsky
can sleep up to 7, and Azza Garden can sleep 2-3.
There are couches, roll-aways and extra linens available on request. There is
a $25 per night additional fee for each person in excess of the above.
• What if we need a crib?
A crib is available upon request for a one-time fee of $50.
• Can we arrange to have someone see the apartments for us?
Of course, it would be our pleasure, and we
encourage it. Simply call us in New York with the name and phone number of your contact person in Israel, and we will have someone call them to arrange for the apartment(s) to be seen.
• Are the kitchens fully equipped? Are they kosher?
Each kitchen is kosher and fully equipped with dishes, pots & pans, refrigerator, stove & oven, microwave, urn, Shabbos blech, etc.
• Is there an elevator?
Jabotinsky and Azza are first floor apartments. King David, Ramban
10, and Azza II are one flight up. Azza Garden is 1/2 flight down. King David has an elevator.
• How far is it to
the Kotel?
All of the apartments are walking distance to the Kotel. Roughly, from King David, the trip would take 20 minutes, from Jabotinsky, Azza, and Ramban , 25 minutes.
• How and when do we have to pay? Is it refundable?
To guarantee your reservation, an immediate 50% cash or check deposit is required. The balance is due in full 60 days before arrival, or 90 days prior to arrival for a peak season booking (Yom Tov or summer). For cancellations made up to
60 days prior to arrival, payments are refundable, with a 3-night penalty. For cancellations made less than
60 days prior to arrival date, payments will be totally non-refundable. During peak season, the above policies will apply for 90 days prior to arrival. All cancellations must be in writing! Travelers' insurance is highly recommended to cover any unexpected medical emergencies.
• Re: Succos - Is there a Succah provided? Where is it?
There is a $400 fee for providing the Succah, $300 for Azza Garden. Jabotinsky's is on its porch, off the kitchen. Ramban
10 is on the porch off the living room/dining room. Azza's and Azza
II's are adjacent to their dining rooms. King David's is in the courtyard. Azza Garden's is off the living area, on the patio.
• Re: Pesach - Will the apartment be kashered for us? Will there be new dishes and utensils?
There are totally separate dishes, flatware, pots & pans, etc. that are locked up all year.
Azza Garden's kashering fee is $250. The fee for kashering the other apartments is
$500.
• What if we have a late flight out? Can we have late check out? Or, can we have early check-in if we arrive early in the morning?
During REGULAR season, as long as the apartment is available, we are happy to accommodate you with late check-out & early check-in times on full length bookings.
• How do we get keys to the apartment? How do we return them?
We will give you the code to the Shabbos combination
lock before you leave for Israel. There will be 2 sets
of keys to the bolt locks waiting for you in the
apartment. When you leave, simply lock them inside.
Please note - for the protection of our guests, if any
keys are lost, the locks will have to be changed, at a
cost of $200.
• Will there be a contact person in Israel if we should need anything?
Of course. Along with the code,
we will be sending you important information such as
contact numbers, other useful numbers for caterers
and private drivers, etc., and various details about
the apartments.
• Can we get high-speed internet or a computer?
Certainly. We can arrange high-speed internet access for a flat $75 per stay. You can also rent a laptop computer for $50.
